LORENZAGO DI CADORE, Italy - Pope Benedict XVI said the debate raging in some countries — particularly the United States and his native Germany — between creationism and evolution was an “absurdity,” saying that evolution can coexist with faith.

The pontiff, speaking as he was concluding his holiday in northern Italy, also said that while there is much scientific proof to support evolution, the theory could not exclude a role by God.

“They are presented as alternatives that exclude each other,” the pope said. “This clash is an absurdity because on one hand there is much scientific proof in favor of evolution, which appears as a reality that we must see and which enriches our understanding of life and being as such.”

A worker of the Malaysian Fisheries Development Board (LKIM) in Batu Maung, Penang, made this unusual find when she was given the 1.7kg fish by a fisherman at the jetty recently. When contacted, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Muka Head marine research station head Prof Dr Zulfigar Yasin said this is the first time he had heard of fish with legs found in the Malaysian waters. “There is a possibility that the fish could have swum from other waters into Malaysian waters. “As far as I am concerned, fish species with legs or bony fins can only be discovered in the waters of North Sulawesi in Indonesia or South Africa,” he said. A 12-year-old girl and her 10-year-old sister were arrested in Oklahoma after their kidnapping plot was foiled. The two girls kidnapped their neighbor's baby, 1-year-old Brandon Wells, from his home at 5:30am and left a ransom note. The note read, "If you want to see your son again then you won't call police and report him missing and you will leave $200,000 on the sofa tonight and we will return your son back safe." They signed it "the kidnappers." What the hell are kids watching these days? I cant even think about what makes a 10 year old and a 12 year think up a kidnapping scheme? And where the hell was the parents in this town? How does your 10 and 12 year old daughter GET out of the house at 5.30 in the morning and bring a one year old baby back? As the two are talking, some guy walks behind them and grabs… the reporter’s microphone! World champion wrestler, Chris Benoit was found dead in his Georgia home on June 25th, 2007 along with wife Nancy Daus, and 7 year old son, Daniel. He apparently murdered his wife and son and then proceeded to hang himself, but not before leaving copies of the Bible laying next to his son and wife's bodies. I don't know what the point was for leaving the Bibles, but maybe if he had picked one of them up and read a couple of pages, he would have thought twice about taking the life of a innocent little child! I love politics. I find it fascinating that since Roosevelt said "happy days are here again" which was a popular song at the time, that it became his campaign song. Some politicians choose to create there own but the best (except for Kennedy) choose to get there own from POP culture. Regan choose "Born in the USA" until the Boss said no you can't use my song. Bill Clinton choose "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow". Which brings us to Hillary Clinton. Now she let us choose her campaign theme song. You could vote on line for what song you wanted to win! Well I guess it was a bunch of Canadians that voted because it was Celine Dion that won with a song I've never heard. Yet Hillary rebounds from this countries and other countries poor choice of her campaign song. How you ask? By video!
